Bac Giang: Expanding industrial parks to attract investment

Bac Giang currently has 9 industrial parks approved by the Prime Minister for investment with a total natural land area of about 1,967.11 hectares. Of these, 6/9 industrial parks have been put into operation and 3/9 industrial parks are implementing infrastructure construction.

Six industrial parks are in operation, of which 4 industrial parks have filled 100% of the industrial land area, including Dinh Tram Industrial Park (127.4ha), Quang Chau Industrial Park (426ha), Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park (158.7ha), Van Trung Industrial Park (350.3ha). And Hoa Phu Industrial Park (95% occupied), Viet Han Industrial Park (74% occupied).

Three industrial parks are carrying out land clearance and investing in the construction of industrial park infrastructure: including Tan Hung Industrial Park (scale of 105.3 hectares) which has completed site clearance work, is leveling the ground and building technical infrastructure; Yen Lu Industrial Park (377ha), Hoa Phu Industrial Park extension phase 1 (85ha) are focusing on speeding up site clearance progress.

To date, industrial parks in the province have attracted 455 valid projects, including 342 FDI projects and 113 DDI projects. Total registered investment capital is $8.21 billion and VND17.94 trillion.
