According to the data of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), the total transaction value of foreign investors in November 2022 reached over VND64,028 billion, accounting for more than 12.71% of the total trading value of both buying and selling directions of the whole market. Foreign investors made a net purchase in the month with a value of more than VND11,693 billion.
At the end of the last trading session of November 2022, the VNIndex reached 1,048.42 points, up 1.99% compared to October and down 30.03% compared to the end of 2021; VNAllshare reached 992.89 points, down 0.05% compared to October, and down 36.41% compared to the end of 2021; VN30 reached 1,049.21 points, up 2.18% compared to October and down 31.68% compared to the end of 2021.
Some industries recorded an increase as shown in the following indexes: the raw materials industry increased by 6.5%; consumer staples increased by 4.37%; the energy sector increased by 2.23%. Besides, a number of industries dropped points, including consumer goods down 7.72%; the real estate industry decreased by 5.37%; the industry fell by 3.06%.
The stock market liquidity in November 2022 recorded an average trading value and volume of over VND11,443 billion (a slight decrease from the previous month but not significant) and 693.45 million shares, respectively up 26.51% in average volume compared to October. The total volume of shares traded in the month reached 15.25 billion shares with a trading value of VND 251,765 billion, up 32.53% in volume and 4.70% in trading value respectively compared to October.
In November 2022, the average trading volume of CW was about 41.51 million CW with an average trading value of more than VND8.15 billion, corresponding to an increase of 8.19% in average volume and a decrease of 2,81% in average value compared to October 2022. The total volume and value of CW transactions in the month reached 913.31 million CW and VND179.3 billion, respectively. Respectively, an increase of 13.34% in volume and 7.70% in trading value compared to October 2022.

Market size on HOSE, by the end of November 30, 2022, there were 551 listed securities codes, including 402 stocks, 03 closed-end fund certificates, 11 ETF certificates, and 135 covered warrant codes. The total volume of listed shares reached over 140.45 billion shares. The listed market capitalization reached more than VND 4.18 million billion, up nearly 2.00% compared to the previous month, accounting for 94.33% of the total listed capitalization value of the whole market, and equivalent to 49.82% of GDP in 2021.
By the end of November 2022, on HOSE, there are 35 enterprises with a market capitalization of more than 1 billion USD, of which 02 enterprises with a capitalization over 10 billion USD are Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB) and Vingroup - JSC (VIC).
