Honda Vietnam (HVN) has announced its retail sales results for the motorcycle and automobile segments in February 2026.

In the automobile segment, sales performance in February 2026 also remained weak. Specifically, HVN’s retail automobile sales reached only 1,052 units, marking a sharp decline of 41.8% year-on-year compared with February 2025.

However, a rare bright spot emerges when looking at the cumulative performance for fiscal year 2026 (ending March 31, 2026). During this period, HVN’s automobile segment recorded total sales of 26,399 units, maintaining positive growth of 2.4% compared with the same period last year.

The decline in Honda Vietnam’s business results in February 2026 is consistent with the broader trend across Vietnam’s automobile and motorcycle markets. The period coincides with the extended Lunar New Year holiday, when consumer purchasing demand typically weakens, while a large volume of vehicles had already been sold during the peak pre-Tet sales period.
