SUMMARY
The main focus of the Textile & Garment and Footwear industry in November 2023 is: Enterprises in the Textile, Garment & Footwear industries continue to increase productivity to prepare for the year-end shopping and export season. Exports of shoes and handbags recorded their highest level since the beginning of the year. Garment exports were weaker, but increased 7.2% over the previous month. Yarn exports decreased by 8.1% in volume compared to October, although still quite good compared to the same period.
In November 2023, demand will continue to improve in some large markets such as the US, EU, China, and Japan. However, exports to South Korea decreased sharply by 22% compared to the previous month and were mainly garments, while demand for footwear and handbags in this market was quite positive.
