SUMMARY
 
In Q2/2023, production and exports continued to improve, but Domestic sales remained slow. Domestic sales are still slow, and domestic selling price has continuously decreased since the beginning of Q2, so steel enterprises are still facing many difficulties (even some enterprises also recorded losses).
 
Compared with the same period, in the first 6 months of 2023, production output decreased by 3.2%, export volume increased by 12.2%, export price decreased by 24%, and domestic sales decreased by 24.6%.
 
The business situation of the industry is expected to continue to be positive towards the end of the year, thanks to the promotion of public investment and infrastructure, a number of large-scale real estate projects have been legally removed and restarted. In addition, exports have more positive signals.
