SUMMARY
 
Overall, the industry's production and export situation in the first 2 months of the year was positive. Compared to the same period, Urea production output increased by 6.3%, phosphate fertilizer increased by 45%, and NPK increased by 11.8%.
 
Production and business activities of the entire industry were positive in the first 2 months of the year mainly thanks to exports and stockpiling for the Winter-Spring crop in the Red River Delta region in March. Export output increased by 27% over the same period. Exports currently account for about 30% of total domestic output.
 
The export prospects of Vietnamese fertilizer are still considered positive thanks to the benefits from export restriction measures of China and Russia.
