A. Summary
 
Hai Phong currently has the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone with an area of 22,540 hectares, an occupancy rate is 63.8%; and 14 industrial parks with a total area of 6,080.21 hectares, with an occupancy rate of over 61%. Of these, there are 9 industrial parks located in the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone and 5 industrial parks located outside.
 
According to the plan for the period 2021 - 2025, Hai Phong will build 15 new industrial parks with an additional area of 6,200 hectares, attracting an additional $12-$15 billion.
 
By the end of 2022, economic zones and industrial parks in the province have attracted 671 projects with a total capital of up to $36.32 billion, including 455 FDI projects with about $22.39 billion and 216 DDI projects with a total registered capital of VND13.93 billion.
 
In particular, the group of large projects belongs to South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong in fields such as manufacturing electronic components, vehicles, electrical equipment, plastic products, metal fabrication, and logistics.
