SUMMARY

 

In Q2/2022, the domestic economy continued to have a positive recovery momentum, both in terms of production, domestic consumption, exports, foreign investment attraction, and business confidence index. Specifically, in the second quarter of 2022, GDP increased by 7.72% over the same period last year, and in the first 6 months of the year increased by 6.42% over the same period last year. This is quite a growth rate compared to other countries in the region and the world.


However, the remarkable point is the large fluctuations in the domestic financial market in Q2/2022. And these developments, if continued, may cause some negative impacts on capital mobilization activities of enterprises, equitization plans and divestment of state capital in enterprises, and state budget revenues from sources of personal income tax, corporate income tax…
