SUMMARY
 
The year 2020 has just passed. This is a year marked by many changes in the world economy in general and Vietnam in particular. Although it is inevitable that the negative impacts of the "pandemic of the century" - COVID-19 in the general context of the world, Vietnam with its own efforts and methods have overcome difficulties and challenges, and also taken advantage of "once in a hundred years" opportunities to increase prestige in the international arena. Specifically, economic achievements recorded in 2020:
 
Vietnam's GDP is still growing positively and is among the highest in the world (2.91%).
The trade surplus reached a new record (USD19.95 billion ).
Both registered and disbursed FDI reached a good level.
Foreign exchange reserves are abundant, the exchange rate is maintained stable.
Vietnam recorded many positive results in digital transformation...
