SUMMARY
 
In Q1/2022, the total mobilized output of the whole system reached 63 billion kWh, an increase of 6%  compared to Q1/2021. In particular, hydropower is favorable thanks to hydrology and the high price of electricity generation in the competitive electricity market. Specifically, hydropower output increased stronger than previous forecasts (up 18.9% year on year).
 
Gas-fired thermal power only increased by 1.6% year-on-year, after being heavily mobilized in 2021. In addition, renewable energy (RE) power increased by 28.5% year-on-year, and coal-fired power decreased by 4.6% compared to the previous year due to the "limited" domestic coal supply.
