SUMMARY
 
In October 2022, seafood exports remained in a slower trend than in the first months of the year but increased slightly compared to the previous month. Specifically, the total value of seafood exports in October 2022 increased by 5.2% compared to the previous month and increased by 1.8% compared to the previous year. In which, shrimp increased by 3.1% compared to the previous month but decreased by 15.5% compared to the previous year; Pangasius increased by 9.0% month-on-month and 30.9% year-on-year.
 
In particular, exports to the EU and Canada continued to slow down, and exports to the US, although improved compared to the previous month, still decreased sharply compared to the same period in 2021.
