SUMMARY
 
Exports of garments and footwear continued to increase compared to the previous month, and increased sharply compared to the same period in 2021; although production output has decreased compared to the previous month due to the fewer working days in the month adjacent to Tet, and many workers returning to their hometown for Tet holidays early. During the month, prices of cotton, yarn, and raw materials of the industry continued to increase.
 
In the first month of 2022, the industrial production index grew quite well compared to the same period last year, in which the textile industry increased by 8.8% compared to the previous year, the garment industry increased by 11.4% compared to the previous year, leather and leather products increased by 12.3% compared to the previous year.
