SUMMARY
 
In Q3/2023, world fertilizer prices increased sharply in July and August, then leveled off and gradually cooled down from the second week of September.
 
Regarding the consumption situation: The domestic sales situation is more positive. Meanwhile, fertilizer export output in Q3 was almost flat compared to the previous quarter and the same period in 2022. Accordingly, the sales output of some large fertilizer enterprises increased significantly compared to Q2, except for DCM.
 
Outlook: World fertilizer prices may be high, and Vietnam's fertilizer exports may be more positive by benefiting from a number of factors that can impact global fertilizer supply. However, according to Vietdata's estimates, even in a positive case, export output in Q4 is likely to only be equivalent to Q3 or decrease <10% compared to the previous quarter.
