The world rice market has had many fluctuations since the beginning of Q3 due to India's rice export restriction order. Meanwhile, import demand and food reserves of countries are increasing, typically the Philippines, Indonesia, China...
Particularly in Vietnam, Vietnamese rice exports reached records in both quantity and export price. The results were achieved by benefiting from the world supply and demand situation.
 
Vietnam's cashew industry continues to maintain the world's number one position in cashew export, accounting for 80% of total global output for 16 consecutive years. Export output increased sharply and increased sharply in many large/small markets. Specifically, in 2023, Vietnam will export 644 thousand tons, an increase of 24% in volume and an increase of 18.1% in value over the same period.
 
Outlook: Vietnam's rice exports are forecast to continue to be positive in 2024 with many favorable factors. Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development estimates that rice exports in 2024 will reach 5.3 billion USD, an increase of nearly 13% over the same period. Cashew exports in 2024 are still quite positive. The cashew industry targets cashew kernel export turnover in 2024 to reach 3.7 billion USD; Domestic cashew output reached 372 thousand tons. The global cashew market is forecast to grow by an average of 4.6% in the period 2022-2027.
