SUMMARY 
 
Since the end of Q3/2022, the production and business situation of enterprises in the Textile, Garment & Footwear industry continued to face difficulties due to the lack of export orders. Even from the end of October until now, many footwear enterprises in the southern region have had to cut production capacity, and reduce workers and/or working hours. The export volume in the month mainly came from previous inventories.
 
Accumulated 11M/2022, garment exports still increased by 18.9%, footwear increased by 39.3%, handbags increased by 39.8%, and textile fibers decreased by 18.6% in volume and 13.6% in value over the same period last year.
